Why do animal right activists want to Ban Jallikattu(Bullfight?)?

If the animal is not hurt needlessly in the name of "sport" I cannot see much harm in it. This type of thing happens at western Rodeos a lot. It is different from a spanish bullfight which is a brutal blood sport in which the bull is made to suffer.
