I began to install XP & when I tought it took to long so I shut it down or stop it by pushin tower on onPC

Need to know if I can just start over by replacing the disk back in & start again? I want to install XP but when it took 2hrs. of installation I didn't know if it was stuck or something so I shut it off from the tower on & removed the disk. Can I start it over again & let it take its course now that I know its a long proceedure of installing? Do I just place it back in again? Or do I have to do something 1st because I didn't let it finish? I am a beginner with these things & I need help A.S.A.P. please. I appreciate ya takin the time out to help me & would like to thank you in advance. also, after I read your answer & feel I need to know just 1 or 2 moe things I will ask either on the feedback or just ask another question on here.
