Any suggestions on good house plants for a house that does not get a lot of light?

My house has quite a few windows but my neighboring houses are quite close and there is a big tree over my back porch so I really don't get much sunlight in my house during the day. What are some good house plants I can grow in minimal light? (Besides cacti!)
