Are doctors charging patients for telephone consultations these days?

Attorneys charge for their cognitive work, so theoretically physicians should be able to do the same. I don't know of any that do, though. I think it is a matter of tradition. Funny thing is, people don't mind the Lawyer charging them, but get angry if a physician does. I don't think it will become a common practice.
