Diaz beats Daily with a huge stand over and do nothing?

so I saw that Diaz had Daily in trouble and than hit him with a huge nothing. then the fight was stopped. Is this proof that Dana now owns Strikeforce? Champions being protected by extremly earlier fight stops? Don't get me wrong I thought Daily looked like a clown out their but come on. Give Diaz the courtesy to actually finish him.
