Should the British Open re-think the age limit on members participating in the major?
A few years ago, the British Open reduced the age limit from 65 to 60 to allow younger players a chance to play the event over past winners with exceptions who aren't quality players anymore and are takins, reducing the talent level in the field. However, should that re-evaluated with Tom Watson, 59, having a chance to win the event this year. He is an anomaly, just like Greg Norman last year, but if he wins, he will have an exemption to play in the tournament as a past winner but by rules after next year he won't be able to because he will above 60. Don't you think if you earn the right to play, reguardless or age, you should be allow? And what, if any, changes to the rules should be made?
