The sims 2 castaway, problem with goals, cant get to next level...?

Hi, Ive been playing the sims 2 castaway and ive got to Chapter 11-A socail networking site, i got past meeting the villagers, when the Chiefs Daughter told me she "wanted me to meet the cheif" and that became my goal, but when i followed her and it started loading the next part of the island, my computer crashed and i had to restart it... unfortunetly now ive lost my goal, ive tried looing for the girl or the chief but they're not around and now i cant move on to the next chapter, so im stuck without any goal, any ideas?
