What is a good program for mixing and mashing music?

like, i want to be able to make my own songs, pull beats from certain songs and mix them with others. take the lyrics from one song and put them to the beat of another. lower one beat but keep another the same and all that kinda stuff. anyone have any suggestions? i do not have a mac and i tried the virtual Dj pro thing, but it didn't allow me the freedom i described, or maybe its just because i have the free version or something. any help?
