What you think of the current state of Hip Hop and who do you blame?

This is how I see it and I am going to be straight up and this is the truth. No one should say that "Hip Hop is Dead" because there are artist who put out good, meaningful, and creative material. What has become of the genre is commercialized. To blame the artists such as Lil Wayne or Gucci Mane is wrong. All they are doing is trying to make a living. The fault lies in the hands of the listeners and the radio. All the mainstream artists are only appealing to the ignorant m public. If the public did not buy their music, artists like them would not be famous. If the radio did not play their songs about , money, drugs, and ignorance, people would not be exposed to this crap that is called music. If the radio played artists such as Common, Lupe, Kid Cudi, Wale, the Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and also more underground rappers, people would be exposed to them more, hence broadening the m public's knowledge base of quality music.
